This weekend in Japan was the 2009 edition of the New Generation World Hobby Fair, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The World Hobby Fair is for game makers and other hobby companies to showcase their goods to the public. Newssite Dengeki Online highlighted some of the game companies that made an appearance at the fair.

Capcom was in attendance with their action game Monster Hunter 3 tri~ for the Wii, best-seller Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for the PSP, and Ryuusei no Rockman 3 for the DS. At display at Capcom's booth was the Classic Controller Pro and black Wii, with which Monster Hunter 3 will be bundled with when it releases on August 1st in Japan. Additionally, the publisher unveiled that the Tetsusaiga, from Rumiko Takahashi and Shogakukan's InuYasha anime/manga series, will be a weapon in Monster Hunter 3.

Sony was in attendance displaying their new Ratchet & Clank games that are set to hit the PS3 and PSP, alongside the PSP Go! handheld, in white and black varieties. Nintendo also was in attendance, showcasing their upcoming title Wii Sports Resort, and displaying the blue Wii Remote and Nunchuk that is a part of their Club Nintendo promotion.

Rounding out Dengeki's coverage are Namco Bandai Games and Level-5. At Namco Bandai's booth was Taiko no Tatsujin Wii and The Munchables. Soccer RPG title Inazuma Eleven 2 for the DS was on display at Level-5's booth.

    I prefer the White Wii to the Black one. I think the white looks nicer overall. But I guess it appeals to some people.

        Your the racist if you think that comment was racist. If you weren't racist, you wouldn't have put white and black into racial stereotypes.

        I also think that Nintendo should have released both of the colored wii's at the same time, because I am not going to spend 250+ dollars to get one that won't be able to see dust or scratches.

      It's not black, it's from an ethnic minority. Actually ethnic majority' might be a more appropriate term.
