Solid Snake is one memorable video game protagonist. He has every characteristic of being bad ass. And many gamers who also love MGS, are skilled in the arts. Check out these amazing drawings done by fans, and follow the link to see the rest.

When I was a child, there were a bunch of cool games... the Sonic ones, the Mickey ones, the Donald Duck ones, etc. But these were all "cute"... then, after sometime, with the evolution of video game, it was delivered to us a game that kicked butt: Metal Gear Solid.

It was not about fighting, but it was about the art of stealth. Being an ocidental ninja, per say... and Solid Snake was that new kind of John Rambo of secret agents. And man, it was a cool game and I'm definetely waiting a movie. Anyways, I selected some cool illustration of Solid Snake, and I really hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)

They're all well done, but I don't really like art done with a tablet. I like to see actual paintings or drawings, it's just cooler to me.

It's rare to see illustrations done without a tablet these days.

I'm not a digital artist. You just hurt my feelings.

No. Don't be sad. ): Its just that digital art looks cleaner because of the obvious advantage an artist has over traditional art.

I like traditional art too if it looks good, I just prefer Digital art that's all. Plus there are always people who feel the opposite. (:

I have a tablet, and use it myself . . . but I'm with the others. Good, ol paper drawings are best

Digital art can be cleaned up and erased, but isn't that why paper art should be appreciated Slumpy? If an artist can do on paper what people are doing on tablets, it's just that much more talented.

They cant though. That's what I'm getting at. I just prefer digital art because you can do things and make things look ways that they wouldn't on paper.

I'm not putting down traditional art, I never have. I just said digital art looks better imo. I never said they shouldn't be appreciated. You can tell when there is talent, whether it is digital or not.
