esh. If you haven't already seen it, here's a look at Konami's official box art for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. The full version is in the gallery below, along with plenty of new screenshots and character renders, all fresh from gamescom 09. There's something unapologetically grim about that image, which might serve to make it my favorite Silent Hill box art ever.

    I do not find the cover scary in the least bit. Creepy little girls are overdone, and Silent Hill can do better.

    Pretty sure this is as good as it gets, since none of the other SH covers are even remotely close to creepy.

      But they were mysterious! This cover just shows a girl with eyes too big for her face, suffering from hypothermia.

        I don't have much of a problem with it. It's better than showing some monster...my problem is the godamn ice...they pretty much changed the backbone of SH, went from the metallic rust/blood to an ice theme, which is awkward for me.

          Yeah, the ice is too much. I suppose the little girl may work if they gave it a more Silent Hill look. The ice thing is kind of strange.

    It's definitely attention grabbing box art. I'd pick it up in a game store just to see what the game's about. The art itself might be as subtle as a brick to the face, but I've given up expecting the newer SH games to capture the subtlety that earlier SH games had. XD

    That cover is awesome. Whoever came up with the design is brilliant. Its not that freaky at all to be honest. I really like it.

    looking good, I never liked survival horror, but for me Silent Hill is different, I cant wait for this game.

      I've read a few previews about it for the Wii and the controls look very good and I think that it will suit the Wii very well.
