The boxart for Army of Two: The 40th Day has been released, and it looks a lot like its prequel, with a different color- putting emphasis on the co-op aspect of the game. 40th Day is the sequel to Army of Two, and will be out January next year.

We love a good box art. And we always appreciate a bad box art. But I'm not sure under which column the new Army of Two: The 40th Day cover falls, spooky, dramatic and explosion-filled though it may be.

At the very least, it's consistent with the original, with our heroes Rios and Salem once again back-to-back behind a column that reads Army of Two. But perhaps it's a little too close, intimidating stare of "you better buy this game or we'll shoot up another major metropolitan city, kid" aside. And it doesn't say "Total Fistbump Destruction" anywhere.

I think all of it looks real nice except the "The 40th Day" part. I am excited for this game though none the less and can't wait to pick it up.

The 40th Day tag does look tacked on. Like a bad Photoshop job.
