I would certainly love to have some pumpkins like these on Halloween, although I probably won't. But at least I saw these ones and I feel better already. Super cool!

Halloween is coming fast and you should probably start working on those pumpkins if you want to have something as amazing as the game-based Halloween pumpkins you can see below created by an incredibly gifted DeviantArt user.

They don't look good at all. Is it just a hole with the picture printed out and overlayed so the light shines through it? If so that is not awesome on any level.

I don't think that's the case, seeing as they're orange. Besides, last I checked, paper is flammable XD

I'm pretty sure that he cuts deeply, to create a thin layer that allows light to get through.

I could be wrong though, it does look rather smooth, the lines.

You don't light a bon fire in the pumpkins. We use tea lights inside brown paper bags at work to decorate the gardens all the time. Paper and flame can be used in concert if you aren't retarded.

The person has actually carved into the pumpkin to get that effect, it takes hours upon hours of careful carving and precision to end up with results like that, seriously i'd like to see you try and do it.

How is my ability to make something relevant to my appreciation of art in the slightest? They don't look like traditional pumpkins, which to me is what normally makes them look good in the first place.

Hah, those are nice. If I attempted making those, they would look horribly disfigured.

Nice! Pumpkin carving tires me out, especially if you want that faded effect.
