Before Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released, there was a rumor floating around the 'net that Takamaru (from The Mysterious Murasame Castle) would appear in the game, and many fans were excited about the prospect of playing as Takamaru in the popular fighting game.

Well he might not have been in Brawl, but Takamaru will appear as a bonus character in the Samurai Warriors 3 Murasame castle mini game. Take a look at his spiffy new makeover here.

Remember when we heard that Samurai Warriors 3 would have a mode that was very similar to 'The Mysterious Murasame Castle'? Well, in the scans we posted earlier today, you can see Takamaru's makeover. First, his original art from back in the day, and then what he looks like in Samurai Warriors 3.
