Once again Famitsu smashes another countdown reveal. It was mentioned earlier that a new character would be revealed for Super Street Fighter IV. According to Famitsu there's actually 3 of them. Adon, Cody, and Guy were last seen in Street Fighter Alpha 3 and are set to make a return to the series in the upcoming installment.

Famitsu spoiled Capcom’s new fighter announcement and introduced three new fighters. Adon and Final Fight pals Cody and Guy are playable characters in Super Street Fighter IV.

These three World Warriors previously appeared together in Street Fighter Alpha 3. Adon, like Sagat, is a master of Muay Thai. Guy is trained in Ninjutsu and Cody is still dressed in his prison garb from Alpha 3.

Sweet, with these three, I'm sold, definitely picking up SSFIV. Now, if they add in Rolento, I'll be pre-ordering.

If they've added Cody, Guy, and Adon, I think it's safe to assume Rolento will be there. Or at the very least, out of all the Alpha 3 guys, Rolento deserves a spot. But yeah it seems like SSFIV will bring in more Alpha characters to the mix. Hopefully the next iteration can throw in some SFIII guys.

At any rate, I'm looking forward to Adon.

Dam was hoping for Dudley but these characters are pretty cool, especially Cody. He better have his knife.

I wish they included more than 8 fighters. 8 seems too few imo.

Well maybe they will...and they'll add in a bigger price tag. But yeah, eight actually seems reasonable to me. There was what, 25 in the home versions of the original? They need to somehow keep the gameplay balanced, and adding more characters can complicate some things.

they've said there's still a reason to hang on to the original sf4, as they're doing something extra for people who already have it to give them more incentive to buy.

also, it's not supposed to debut at the usual MSRP for new releases (allegedly - we all know how that turned out with ODST)
