What If FFXIII Characters Were Drawn Like Classic FF Characters

Have you ever wondered what the cast from Final Fantasy XIII would look like as classic Final Fantasy character artwork? The scan from this week's Famitsu shows Yoshitaka Amano's (the previous character designer) take on the characters.

Before Tetsuya Nomura led the look of Final Fantasy, Yoshitaka Amano was the main character designer. Amano did not draft Lightning, Snow, or the other heroes in Final Fantasy XIII, but what if he did?

    Lightning looks all right, Serah looks pretty passable, but he really phoned it in on everyone else.

    Must not have been enough blondes in the cast for him to really care.

      Oh hoh! XD Personally I'm glad to see Amano-san doing what he did for Final Fantasy. For better or worse, his style hasn't skipped a beat after all these years.

    I like how they look except for the black haired woman's appearance. She doesn't really appeal to me.
