Earlier an American poster was revealed for the upcoming Tekken movie. Warner Bros. Japan are starting to drum up the hype by releasing a Japanese poster. At any rate, it certainly blows its King of Fighters counterpart out of the water.

As of late, there hasn't been any word yet on the distribution plans for the live action adaptation of the popular fighting video game Tekken in North America. Meanwhile in Japan, the marketing campaign has started to set in motion with the arrival of the teaser poster at the Japanese official site featuring Wushu martial artist Jon Foo (Tom-Yum-Goong) as Jin Kazama on the front. Kudos goes to costumes designer/make-up department for getting the likeness right.

If they screw this up like they did with street fighter then i'll be pissed.

the street fighter movie should have been made by a fan of the series and used real actors.. they keep hiring bad ones.

The Street Fighter movies just seem to be cursed by stupidity. I had some hopes for the KoF one but it seems like that's followed the SF path. Which leaves Tekken. I'm surprised that they've actually put some effort into this. Hopefully the end product will be good and pay off for their hard work.

It doesn't look too bad. At least the actors look like the characters they're supposed to portray.
