The Final Fantasy XIII figurines are being sold in Japan, but if retailers thought that the public might ignore the dozens of promotional posters on the windows, Akihabara's Kotobukiya store thought up a plan that might attract people's attention: Have a bunch of cosplayers pose like said figurines at the front of the store. No idea on whether it helped sales or not, but apaprently they were a real hit with photographers.

With real people dressed up in costume, that's how! As Square Enix launches a set of Play Arts figures, and Akihabara's Kotobukiya retail shop has a special event in store.

Or rather, outside store.
