Japanese Heavy Rain Box Art is Pretty Odd

A lot of people were disappointed by the Heavy Rain box art for NA, which resembled too much of a Hollywood movie poster that is trying to use sex to sell. Compared to the EU box art, which many loved, the NA one is starting to look less and less impressive, and the release of the JP box art adds on to it. Featuring one of the main characters drowning in a flood of, well heavy rain. Its quite a creative box art, A bit odd and not as impressive as the EU one, but still nice. Check it out.

I think they all look terrible (the European one might be okay if it weren't for that hideous rating logo), but this could be the one case where the Japanese box looks the worst.

      its a tough choice between the EU one and this one. I really like the bloody crane in the rain, but this one is just too cool.

    The nose makes me think of PotC when Sparrow is sniffing out the peanut... I guess it's just me.

    this is very moving and has a big story to tell. as opposed to people standing in the background

    I don't really like it truth be told, prefer both the EU and NA boxarts.

    This boxart sums up the story more than the others as The Origami Killer drowns his/her victims, so for that it's very good. I still prefer my EU Special Edition boxart.

      You better hope that's not what really happens in the game, because I will effing kill you. Seriously man, be careful about spoilers. I am completely aware that some of you may be following the game a bit more than I am, but I'm trying to go spoiler free on this one because I want it to amaze me with everything it has.

      You mentioning that just kills it for me. You completely ruined my day. =(

        It's not even a spoiler as it is described in the games plot it will most likely even be on the back of the box. The way the Origami Killer dispatches his enemies is hardly a secret it's all over the official website, it's been in trailers.

        You don't even have to delve deep into the story or the game to hear about it. The way he does his crimes will probably be explained within the first 10 minutes of starting the game. So I haven't spoiled a thing... Really there are thousands of things in this game that really are spoilers, things I don't even know for that very reason. What I said was merely part of the plot that is written on the official website... Calm the *bleep* down.

    I think it is okay, nothing fantastic really but it does say more about the game...the European box art looks better on first glance though.

    The Japanese one looks so eerie. It's nice, but I like the European one the best.
