The Gamers Hub presents a listing for voice actor Nolan North and the games he has had a role in, ranging from Uncharted's Nathan Drake to Assassin's Creed's Desmond Miles.

Nolan North is a video game voice actor whom which most of us know best as Nathan Drake. What some of you may not know is that he has been in quite a few games to date. He is also a live action actor in Port Charles and General Hospital. Few of his other well known gaming voices have come from Assassin’s Creed 2 as Desmond Miles and Army Of TWO: The 40th Day as Elliot Salem.

    I was watching NCIS the other week. I saw his name pop up on the screen and jumped off the couch. "No way", I said. I went back and sure enough, his name was there.

    I looked it up - he played a cop. So I looked at them all and sure enough, there he was. <3

    While I understand he is a great talent he does have a habit of giving each character the same voice. I mean personally my first known hearing of him was of Nathan Drake and now every character he plays, from Desmond Miles, Elliot Salem the Prince in Prince of Persia.. They all sound like Nathan Drake, maybe that is Nolan trying to make them sound almost normal and genuine, but it does throw me off at times especially with Elliot Salem.

    When I played the Dark Void demo I thought for sure I was playing as Nathan Drake, because he didn't sound at all different.

    However, his role in A Crack in Time is definitely a lot different, voice-wise.

    I don't think sounding the same is a big issue, personally.

    That's kind of like saying Brad Pitt is a bad actor because it's easy to recognize him.
