Concept art for Fable 2 was released yesterday, July 2nd on the official Lionhead website. The pictures show new scenery and characters that will be featured in the game, to be released sometime in 2008 for the Xbox 360 platform (rating pending).

Fable 2 takes place a full 500 years after the first Fable ends, going from a medieval setting to a bit more of a Colonial one. New technology and weapons such as firearms will be released, and your character will have a much bigger impact on his (or her!) society than in the first game. For example, if you loot a trading post while your character is young, the area may be empty when you return a few years later. However, if you trade with it, the small post may flourish and become a full-fledged city by the time your character gets older.

To find out more information, check out the Lionhead Fable Website and be sure to check out the Teaser Trailer.

    Trailer is bloody cool

Concept art (some of it anyhow) is also cool

I'd like this game on the PS3, but it is better it remains exclusive to one console, and since the original was on the original X-Box...

So yeah, definitely getting this game, though I knew that ages ago...but its shaping up to look, and play, better then I thought

The news that I've been dreading for a while about Fable 2 not coming out until 2008 has saddened me, but I should have known all along that 2007 release date which was originally planned for would be pushing it.

And the concept art shows some fierce looking characters, all good in my opinion.
