If you've taken a deep look at the original Super Mario Galaxy logo (or simply read this article), you may have noticed a few little stars at the bottom of certain letters. The letters are URMRGAY = U R MR GAY.

Many laughed this 'subliminal message' off as a funny coincidence and didn't think much of it. But it seems the message may have been intentional after all. A new 'message' has appeared on the sequel's logo.

Same deal (as the first game's logo). Certain letters have a little star on the bottom, which are:
U R M I A Y

UR MIAY? UR MI AY? No no, read it BACKWARDS:
Y A I M R U

Which, if read like YA I M R U, sounds like 'Yeah I am, are you'?

MIND ****

    /facepalm

People have too much time on their hands, gaming companies need to stop dumbing down games so people actually spend more time playing games than disecting their box art

This is just becoming a run on joke with the series. To much time on their hands definitely.

The use of the term gay as jokes or insults has since become long and boring. Sure it's a nice find if you prefer to spend your time looking for such idiotic and unnecessary things...sure it is strange that those stars are placed on those letters and I'm sure after the first time it was found, the second one was simply a set-up but as someone mentioned before...who cares?

Fact is, if you haven't figured that something is strange from the get go about Italian plumbers going down pipes then it is time to retire from life altogether

I've seen this before and I don't find it remotely funny cause I don't think nintendo and whoever else made this meant for that to be there.

Who cares? Maybe a few 10 year olds would giggle or something but it's not a big deal.

The first one was believable but this one just doesn't work.

How about: 'You are missing in action, why?'

Maybe the next one will subliminally say "Because I was dogging with Daisy, bro."

I think this message is a little too farfetched, at least the first sorta made sense.

I agree, it's silly. Not only a waste of time, but someone who's very bored and they're trying to look clever perhaps, or just kill time and decided to share their pointless endeavour.

Yea but for someone to figure it out they would have to have some imagination

Not really. This person's boss said 'hey, find something subliminal in the title like their was last time so we can get more traffic' and the poor bastard spent a few hours scratching his head before seeing it. It's not imagination, it's just bollocks.

I think 3256 has a point. That makes a much weirder statement than the one in the article.
