New GTA IV details and scans!

I can't think of anything who isn't interested in the new Grand Theft Auto game and the information just keeps on coming.

These Grand Theft Auto IV scans are from the latest issue of the British gaming magazine Games TM. The 7-page-long exclusive preview contains details about the game play and some brand new in-game pictures !

Here's a quick list with some of the notes from the article:

  • The cell you saw in the trailer appears to be a big part of the game. Instead of buying weapons at Ammu-Nation you can call "Little Jakob", a caribbean weapon dealer, who will provide you with guns.
  • There is a menswear store called "Perseus"
  • The "Tw@ Café" internet Café from GTA III is back. You can surf the Internet from every computer in the game.
  • You will be able to use taxis to get around. You can watch the drive from the ego-perspective or you can skip the whole thing by pressing the proper button.
  • Every crime committed increases the wanted level. As soon as you reach a certain level a search area appears on the radar. If you escape from such an area without being spotted by pedestrians/cops, the wanted level falls back. If you are spotted by a witness, the area changes to the place where you were last spotted.

    It already looks amazing, but it seems that they just keep adding and adding new features into it.
    Its same we have to wait something like 97 days until its launch ...

    What do you expect, GTA games are based off real life. And which is one of my many reasons of getting it. I say GTA is going to be the best for ps3.

    My argument is why does the weapons dealer have to be Caribbean xD Haha jk, that's great! More power to the Caribs.

    I'm loving the new features, like the taxi bit.

      This new information is awesome. The taxi part is cool, but I'd rather just drive around. (unless I had to get somewhere really fast)

        Well at times I've wanted to get from one place to another, and couldn't be bothered to walk/run or drive there. I think for those times, having a Taxi will be great. I wonder if you can pay for the cab fees, and then kill the driver to take your money back.. or will they speed off the moment you get out of the car

    This series would still sell millions if they just had a box and a blank disc. These games just keep getting better and better. After awhile, they physically can't get any better and the universe will explode. I can't wait.

      Reminds me of the minigames that you could play in San Andreas (arcade games I believe they were).

    Comments that are sure to cause an argument as to whether or not finalblade98 is a fanboy or not HAVE BEEN REMOVED. If you had something worthwhile in your post about the actual game, then the offending text will have simply been removed rather than the whole comment.     get in! no pausing when entering new locations thats a big plus as well!! Looks an awesome game though!! hope the taxi drivers from GTA3 are back though! they rocked!!
