And Enter The (New) Princess In The Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii is getting closer to release, and with that we are getting more details about the game. With two new scans released (as can be seen by clicking the images below) there seems to be a new character in our midst. She's blond, and has a crown just like Princess Peach, and Famitsu has named her as Rosetta, with no other details released about what role she will play in the game.

Those that are worrying about her taking over the role of Princess Peach, should not fear, as Peach herself, has been confirmed to be in the game, and has been mentioned several times since the games announcement. But then what role will she be playing...? Let the theorising begin ;)

    This is great. I hope she is a good character look at the good graphics. For Mario at least.

      Nope. Famitsu already confirmed that her name is Rosetta. Peach is still in, though, it was confirmed that she was kidnapped again. Repetitive storyline? Yeah. But oh well, the game looks so *bleep*ing awesome I don't care.

      She's quite good looking, if I do say so myself. Hotter than Peach, but less then Zelda or Samus. I'm still surprised the Wii can pump out these graphics, considering how the hardware isn't exactly cutting edge(for those who don't know, it's real-time). It isn't Gears or MGS4, but beautiful nonetheless.

    It may be Princess Peach. Princess Rosetta sounds much more up to date and contemporary.

    Her name reminds me too much of the rosetta stone. Or however it's spelled.

    Maybe Mario has to chose between his old time girl and the fine new piece of ass. I say new girl ftw. Peach keeps getting captured like a little bitch.

    Peach getting captured is more of a running joke than anything by now. It is admittedly corny, but we all love it anyway.

    I guess this just proves, we're not in the Mushroom Kingdom anymore, boys and girls.

    Looking very nice indeed, I wonder if she plays a major role in the game. Though I bet that she just gives Mario some useful information and gives him access to more power-ups / stages etc. Can't wait for more information on the new Princess.

    I'm glad to hear that she isn't replacing Princess Peach, because there's no replacing Peach. But still, it's interesting to see what kind of role she will play.

    I wouldn't mind Princess Peach being replaced It'll be like how they replaced Ken from Ken and Barbie xD Haha, yeah her name reminds me of Rosetta Stone.
