Thanks to the folks at the ps3forums, we have six pages of Killzone 2 information direct from the Official Playstation Magazine (UK). They were given the opportunity for a World Exclusive on Killzone 2, and fortunately, they haven't disappointed us.

The de-saturated colour palette, and the fact that Helghan is such an inhospitable hole, should mean that the game looks drab. The fact it doesn't is down to an array of visual tricks, the most important of which is deferred rendering, which involves blending the effect of light sources on an object..*snip*...it makes the city look incredibly dynamic with light and shadow changing constantly as a result of muzzle flashes, burning wreckage and jags of lighting

Isn't the first level the only thing we've seen? I mean I think it looks amazing but all I ever think about when this game is mentioned is the dark, predominantly grey, first level. Show us something new plz.

Alright, love. Krunal and darkpotato's replies weren't there when I replied.

But yeah I'd love to see something new as well. Killzone 1 had a nice varity of different sceneries.
