New Screenshots for Lego Batman -- Mr. Freeze and The Scarecrow

Here are some new screenshots for Lego Batman, which were released in a press release. Lego Batman is supposed to be out in September for various platforms.

Traveler's Tales is putting in some nice work on their upcoming release Lego Batman: The Videogame (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, DS, PC) as seen in these screenshots. We've grabbed hold of them in a recent press release, and we were pleasantly surprised with what we had to see.

The villains, as shown in these shots, look pretty cute in their blocky glory. Icons of the series like Mr. Freeze and The Scarecrow look diabolically delightful, making us more excited to see them come to life in this shape and form.

Lego Batman is slated for launch come September of this year across multiple platforms

    I'm sick of Lego games. They just seem like cheap knockoffs to me. It's the most contrived idea I've ever heard.

    The way it works is they can make twice as much from the same series: Just make a regular live-action version and a Lego one. Double the profits, yay!

        Yeah I have actually. It's exactly that different take that makes me not like them. It just degrades the series in question.

    The only fear I have about LEGO Batman is the fact that there is no speech.

    Star Wars and Indy are fine, since they are based on movies, so most people know what is happening. I hope they can convey the storyline good enough...

    I really love superheroes, my greatest love. I can't wait for this game, and they have picked some cool supervillains to take on the Batman.
