Japan sure know how to advertise their video games. Here are a few photos of Tokyo's popular Shibuya district, showing the enormous Metal Gear Solid 4 advertisments and posters that have been scattered across the area.
Those ones as tall as skyscrapers would certainly attract attention!

New York City got a giant Wii Fit add. Los Angeles got a Grand Theft Auto IV hotel. Tokyo? Tokyo's Shibuya gets a couple giant Metal Gear Solid 4 billboard overlooking the insanely busy Hachiko Square. Hit the jump for a wider shot.

I kind of like these massive advertisements. They transform the otherwise dull buildings into pieces of art. I actually kind of wish that they would come to my town. But that isnt going to happen, as we don't really have any buildings big enough, and they would probably cost more than they would make.

A popular Japanese franchise which is releasing in less than a fortnight has begun a heavy advertising campaign in Japan?

I like it when Advertisers do this for video games. It was awesome when they did it for GTA IV because their was a big ass GTA IV Poster covering a whole building that was right outside my town. It was awesome to look at.

Japan has got to many advertisments. They should cut down

i think its awesome. there are a ton of gta4 ads in sf. ive yet to see a mgs4 add though.
