The hottest Booth Babes you won't see at E3 2008

Gothic Girl | June 14, 2008 | Pictures | Misc
Will you still be disappointed with the lack of Booth Babes at E3 2008? Even after seeing the Booth Babes at Computex 2008 and the Taipei Game Show?

kezins.com will definitely miss them. So in an effort to "Bring Back the Booth Babes" they have posted up pictures of their favorite babes from previous expos. It probably won't bring them back to E3, but it will show new gamers what E3 used to be like...
In an effort to ‘Bring Back the Booth Babes’ we’re publishing some pics of what we will miss for the 2nd year in a row. Marketing is simple, place strategic ads that consumer’s will find interesting. Nevertheless, we will always keep E3’s best exhibit in our memories.

You would never see these types of booth babes at E3 even prior to their "no booth babe" rules. The legit E3 booth babes tend to be dressed in attire that totally relates to the theme or characters of actual games. Not to mention that asian booth babes were rare. He's mostly showing booth babes dressed in outfits modelled after car show babes, personally I find the E3 booth babes much more relevant to the industry. Booth babes in Computex/Comdex make no sense. Yet, certain booth babes @ E3 make sense IMO. Articles like these kind of spread the misconception of what booth babes SHOULD be in E3 and probably fueled the demise of the E3 booth babes. I've been to 4 or 5 E3's before the booth babe ban and the only memorable booth babes were always in costume because they brought the game characters to life (actually the most memorable parts of E3 for me always revolved around the huge setups, trailers and complex booths, plus seeing the occasional cool mascot costume - sadly the elaborate setups are also something they want to do away with at E3).

Still, fans love to see stuff like Lara Croft come to life, and mind you in those situations there were male models portraying male characters too (more rare but not unheard of).

Of course you also had the "it made no sense" booth babes dressed in t-shirts and shorts or weird jumper suits advertising stupid things, or trying to convince people to take surveys - these they could have done without. The LAST thing we need to do is try to bring back these booth babes not relevant to the games because they just fuel more of the anti-booth babe sentiment that got E3 in trouble in the first place.

    Just my 2cents.

Sex sells, it has been proven in the past. But alas- we have to keep things family friendly. Also E3 is going by the Keep it simple stupid procedure, which is more efficient anyway. So no booth babes could be a good thing... perhaps?
