Prince of Persia Film is now being shot

Jake Gyllenhaal has been cast in the new Prince of Persia film and is set to take the role of Dastan. This film is based on the games and includes actors such as Gemma Arterton, who will play Tamina.
The two will have to stop Ben Kingsley from getting the Sands of Time.

Filming has just kicked off on the Moroccan set, and is being directed by Mike Newell who also shot the fourth Harry Potter film.

Here are the first pictures of Brokeback Mountain actor Jake Gyllenhaal as the Prince of Persia, or as most of the movie press are now calling him, "the Prince of Beefcake".

    I always confuse him with Tobey Maguire. I've only seen him as Bubble Boy, and even then, I though he was Tobey Maguire.
