Pick the boxart for the Resistance 2: Limited Edition

Silver Mirror | August 26, 2008 | Pictures | Playstation 3 Company
Insomniac have always been about the community and are asking for your opinion on the best Resistance 2 Limited Edition boxart of three possible choices. Pick one and vote, make your voice heard. I'm personally leaning towards choice number 3, which one do you like?
When a game is all finished up and burned to the disc that you'll eventually pop into your console, it also needs a couple other things to get it safely to store shelves and into your hands: a box, an instruction manual of some sort, and, perhaps most importantly, a good cover to not only set the mood but wrangle in potential gamers as well.

One game that's going to need some sort of cover for its release later this year is Resistance 2. Or, more specifically, the Collector's Edition of the game. The problem is that Insomniac has narrowed the choice down to three potential covers, but the studio can't seem to make up its mind. So they're turning to you.

Three or Two. But they're all pretty decent.

None of them are exceptionally cool, but since there's only those three I picked the third one.

I choose the third, but that one's no better than Halo 3's.

Definatly the first one. I wonder if they are still sticking with the name R2 or are they going to add something after it.

The first one's pretty much the shit, so I'd stick to that.

    Number 3 has my vote.

I reckon the normal box art will look somewhat like numbers 1 and/or 2.

Number one for sure. The other two are ok, though.

Definitely number 3. All of them look pretty good though.

Number 3 is amazing. The other 2 don't really have a collector's edition feel to them. They'd make great normal covers though.

Hm, none of them strike me as being particularly awesome, but if I had a say, I'd go with No. 2 (don't have a PS3, though). Nice intense close up of the protagonist's face is always dramatic :3

1st one all the way. I'm probably standing alone here. WOO!! LONE STAND!

None of them are "limited edition" quality, but I do like the third one (the primary image in this GameGrep article).

Number Three is copy of Fable 2's box art.

Barely. Just because it has two characters on flipsides of each other doesn't make it a copy. Fable 2's reflects the choice to be who you want to be. RFOM2's is just showing the two sides of the war.

But they're not using the two-character design for the Collector's Edition anyway.

TBH, I actually think all of them are fine. Im not one to care about the box art, I want the game not the cover. Thats the main important thing for myself.
