Bale Fire | September 19, 2008 | Pictures | Playstation 2 Game Boy Advance
The boxart for the standalone release of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories has been revealed. And while the cover certainly doesn't define the game it certainly looks a treat.

BA be glad its not a Mario remake. Japan is so far up his rear end its not even funny.

    I really like it, could've looked way cooler without the annoying appearance of such faces as Mickey Mouse. ;.;

Yes I know they're a feature but I feel they wreck the whole vibe.

Nope, Normura said we dont get it. Which REALLY sucks case that game lets you fight Roxas instead of watching that lame cutscene.

Incorrect this game is the same exact game as Final Mix. So yes we're getting this, which is this game.

This is not the same game as Final Mix. Final Mix was Kingdom Hearts 2 with extra bosses, costumes and cutscenes along with a PS2 version of Chain of Memories. Were just getting the Chain of Memories part.

          quote Gothic Girl
Eh? It's the same CoM that was released in Japan in 2007.
No its not the same thing tbh. This is the same game that Japan got in 07.
Where did it say that Silver?

That's not quite what I meant in the quote.
CoM was released with Final Mix+ in 2007. It's not a new game/remake that was just created (as you originally asked in the other article). It's the same CoM remake that Japan got in 2007. We're just getting it a year late.

Like Silver said, we are only getting the CoM disc. We are not getting the Final Mix+ disc. I don't know why people are complaining though, a few extras in a game that we've already played isn't anything worth complaining about.

Already played? I don't remember playing those extra's. Also GG why did they make a PS2 port of a DS game?

First of FB, I was not incorrect at all. We are not getting Final Mix at all, we're only getting CoM.

Also CoM was not a DS game, it was a gba game, I am not sure where you got that from....

FB are you just thick or something?

CoM is a PS2 port that was PART OF the final mix of KH2 that Japan got which included extra bosses etc.

This is just the standalone CoM game but a year later for us. That means no Final mix content.

'Already played? I don't remember playing those extra's.'
I'm pretty sure she means that she doesn't mind not paying more for KH2 again just for the sake of a few extras.

And as for the port.. Maybe to gain a wider audience for that game in the west, and they already had the PS2 version sorted so no sense making a next gen one

The DS version did come out in the west though. The only thing I can gather would be to give users who never played the DS version a taste of what it was on the PS2. Either way its not something big.

The GBA version did, sure.. But the PS2 graphical remake that came with KH2:FM didn't.

I know, the point is, no one cares for the CoM. Most people rather play KH2:FM. Thats pretty much my point.

Wiki isn't that reliable though. But maybe its going to happen.

Also why are they releasing CoM on the PS2?
