EGM have dedicated a page of this month's issue to the fairly large array of Final Fantasy games that have recently (and not-so-recently) been announced, yet haven't had much information divulged since then. The magazine tried their best to piece together what little info has been released.
It's a shame that one-and-a-half years have passed since Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII were announced, and yet fans still don't know much about the game's details, let alone the characters that will appear.
And despite Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core being released in Japan last September, there is still no news on an English release. No release date, no voice cast, no box art, nothing.
Okay, fans can look past the fact that Final Fantasy: Dissidia and the various Kingdom Hearts spin-offs were only just announced, but I'm sure it won't be long until fans are practically begging for any info on the games.
What ever happened to the days when Square would release information (no matter how small the tidbit) left, right and center?
Square, if you're going to announce a game, then don't forget about it for a year, and leave the fans hanging.
We now have the EGM Scans from this months issue. There isn't much new but a short summary of each TGS trailer which we've read before.
Pieces from the scan:
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core: This long-awaited PSP prequel might actually redeem the hitherto underwhelming "Compilation of FFVII".
Final Fantasy XIII: We spied a third potential party member - a scantily clad brunette with pigtails.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Here, the vibe isn't sci-fi/fantasy, but rather a slick mashup of gritty mafia drama.
Final Fantasy Dissidia Looks better than previous FF fighter "Ehrgeiz"
Kingdom Hearts: Will keep the 'mouseketeers' occupied.

As for the TBA status well that what happens when you have two system's your making games for things takes time.
I don't think it's that big of a deal, considering most of the FF games are separated over 1-1 1/2 years. A few Square Enix games have been released, and they are of medium playability. I would just wait for them, the TBA status hasn't really been on long.
I think this supports my statement.
if only it was as easy as that...
5 from what i read but there seems to be more! How many can they make in a year!
