Activision has recently brought up their monthly subscription fee service for Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 in the Call of Duty service and is pricing out what enhancements will be charged and which will be free. Overall, what is the impact this has on the game industry and shooter genre?

No thank you, you can keep your subscription and stick it up your arses, Activision have milked enough money out of people and it seems they are getting far too greedy now, I hope this backfires.

I'll stick to playing for free with other games that are actually far more fun, MAG may have it's issues but for one the game is more enjoyable than any COD game.

    *bleep* you Activision.

I've always enjoyed CoD single player. Haven't really liked the multiplayer since 4, so basically what this tells me is that I'm renting it.

Not even 4 was worth paying for, but certainly not a frankenstein of a game made by one broken company and one completely new and untrusted company.

Can get everything their offering in the subscription pack for absolutely nothing on Halo: Reach.
