Blizzard announced today that there will be a second blizzard convention following the success of BlizzCon 2005.

PARIS, France. — April 12, 2007 -- Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced plans for its second BlizzCon™ gaming convention. BlizzCon is a celebration of the Warcraft®, StarCraft®, and Diablo® franchises and the players who have helped make them so popular around the world. This year's event will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on August 3 and 4, and will feature various activities for attendees to take part in.

"We were gratified by the response to our first BlizzCon in 2005 and have been looking for an opportunity to hold a follow-up event ever since," stated Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment®. "With BlizzCon 2007, we plan to deliver another entertaining and informative experience for the attendees, and we look forward to meeting all of them again this year."

    I hope that at BlizzCon they can confirm weather or not the rumor about Starcraft 2 is true.

    Don't forget about Diablo 3. They haven't said anything about it yet but the internet is full of suspicious rumors.

    Man...Cali? They should host it in NYC sometimes T_T.

    Starcraft Ghost has been delayed time and time again (just like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates for DS). I doubt they'll have any updates on that. I hate it when game companies do that >_<.

    I wish I could go. They really should do events outside of Cali. Oh well, at least we'll probably get some game updates and information. =)
