After the nighttime leak/reveal shocked and caused the internet to explode, the news reel is not over yet. The latest game announced by RPG house Square Enix, Chrono Trigger DS, is set to release in North America this holiday season.

This DS-exclusive port/remaster will make use of the Nintendo DS's two main features: its two screens and touch screen functionality. Much of the game's original gameplay will remain in tact, Active Time Battle system, Tech skills, and all. Additions to Chrono Trigger DS will consist of a brand new dungeon and a Wireless Play feature, with the specifics unknown as of right now.

    After hearing about SMRPG being released in Japan I thought that they might opt to release this on the Virtual Console. But I'd rather have it on the DS since you can play it on the go. I could care less about the extra features they've added though. Hopefully they won't rehash the game every few years like they've done with FFIV recently.
