WiiWare lets Euro gamers pop bubbles and ranch Pokemon this week

chautemoc | July 07, 2008 | Press Release | Wii
If you dig ranching and/or popping bubbles, are European and own a Wii, you're in luck this week. My Pokemon Ranch (MPR) and Pop (Pop) are two titles debuting on WiiWare, both of which offer some light fun.

MPR sees Miis and Pokemon interacting for the first time. More than that, players can take pictures, send them to friends, and tend to the Pokemon on their ranch. The game can be linked with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, too, where you can import the Pokemon (up to 1000) from the DS titles to MPR. The game goes for 1000 Wii Points (WP).

Pop is an Australian-made game all about popping bubbles, as mentioned. Bubbles are worth points and time, and making chains by popping bubbles with the same colours results in big points. Power-ups and multiplayer are also featured. Pop goes for 700 WP.

Details on the online components are below.
There are badges for completing certain objectives; online high-score tables and WiiConnect24 messages so you can keep up with your friends’ progress and boast about your own. Download Pop today for 700 Wii Points.

Poke ranch is only recommended to those who own Diamond for Pearl.

Why is it only recommended for D/P owners?

Hehe I would get it if I had spare or someone gifted me WP.

I'm not a big fan of the Wii download games.

You get Pokemon by putting them in from D&P. Otherwise it takes forever for your ranch to expand.
