Legacy Interactive, a leading developer and publisher of casual games since 1998 announced yesterday they've signed an agreement with Nintendo of America to publish titles for the DS and Wii. They'll be expanding their popular Real Life Games franchise this October with the release of Zoo Vet: Endangered Animals for the handheld and Pet Pals: Animal Doctor (no z's!) for the Wii. Details on each game are below.

As well, more than 500 casual games are available through their official game network (listed to the right).

Pet Pals: Animal Doctor is designed especially for Wii™ and enhances the player’s gaming experience by utilizing unique Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers, allowing the players to feel as if they are actually holding and using medical tools in the veterinarian’s office.

A breakthrough title on the Nintendo DS™, Zoo Vet: Endangered Animals is a new simulation game set in an urban zoo. Designed to fully utilize the DS capabilities, the game incorporates the latest in gaming technology, including micro games for each medical tool, photorealistic animals, and beautifully rendered environments.

"Both Zoo Vet and Pet Pals have been very successful for Legacy Interactive,” Ariella Lehrer, President and CEO of Legacy Interactive. “Becoming a Nintendo publisher allows us take advantage of the innovative interfaces of the DS and Wii to expand these franchises and bring them to new customers and new platforms.”
