Today, Hudson Software announced that Fishing Master World Tour will be release for the Nintendo Wii in the Winter of 2009. In this sequel to Fishing Master, there are about 200 different types of fish with many different locations to fish in around the world. Also, the Wii's interactive controls will be used to have the Wiimote act like the fishing rod where moving it back and forth, left and right, and in any other direction will affect the fishing displayed on-screen!

Hudson Entertainment on Tuesday announced plans to bring out Fishing Master World Tour for Wii in the winter of 2009. The title is a sequel to Fishing Master.

World Tour serves up some 200 different fish types and enables gamers to fish around the world across 40 different locations from Easter Island to the Golden Gate Bridge "in the first ever global fishing game on Wii."

"Fishing Master set the standard for realistic fishing fun, and Fishing Master World Tour really takes the gameplay to the next level," said Dai Kudo, head of the console division at Hudson Entertainment. "Featuring a global fishing environment, over 200 different types of fish to catch, more realistic controls, wi-fi laddering and addictive multiplayer battle modes, FISHING MASTER WORLD TOUR will provide countless hours of fun for the entire family."

The title adheres to the first's control scheme so that players use the Wii remote to pull fish left and right as they fight the line.

I guess the Wiimote action would be cool enough, but I really can't see getting addicted to a fishing video game.
Could be just me though, I don't like fishing in the first place.
