After teasing the game announcement last week, Atlus USA today have announced that they will be releasing Eternal Poison, known as Poison Pink in Japan, for the PS2 on November 11, 2008.
Eternal Poison revolves around the capture of the Princess of Valdia, for whom brave adventurers have trekked out to rescue from her captors: the Majin creatures, born from when the demonic realm of Besek entered this world. However, there is a treasure, called the Eternal Poison, in Besek that allows the bearer's deepest desires to come true.
Eternal Poison is a RPG that has the player take hold of five different parties as they journey their way into Besek. In Besek there are branching paths and optional encounters, with each choice the players make having a direct effect on the outcome of each story. The Majin that inhabit Besek, including boss demons, can be captured instead of kill, allowing them at the player's disposal, whether to use in combat, or sacrifice for money and new spells.
Eternal Poison is developed by Flight Plan. The game will retail with a MSRP of 39.99 USD, and will come bundled with an official soundtrack. The official site can be found here.
