In a press release today, Sega has announced its lineup for the upcoming Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. Headlining the publisher's offerings are two of its more recognizable mascots: Sonic and Amigo, in the form of Sonic Unleashed [PS3/360/WII], Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood [NDS], and Samba De Amigo [WII].

With the Beijing Olympic Games currently ongoing, Sega has also decided to bring Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games [WII/NDS] and Beijing 2008 [PS3/360] to the show, even through they are not new or upcoming releases.

Sega will also bring two of the four games from their publishing deal with Platinum Games, the developer that is comprised of former Clover Studios employees. MadWorld [WII] and Bayonetta [360/PS3] will be shown at Leipzig.

Rounding out the list are Valkyria Chronicles [PS3], Dinosaur King [NDS], Golden Axe: Beast Riders [360/PS3], Space Siege [PC], Empire: Total War [PC], Alpha Protocol [360/PS3/PC], and Stormrise [360/PS3/PC].

Sega will also be announcing a surprise new game at the beginning of the convention. It will be Headstrong Games's (formerly Kuju London) game that they are developing for Sega. Jet Set Radio, perhaps?

    I really wonder what the surprise game is; Kuju London was Wii-focused, so I can't wait to see what they'll show off.

    Also can't wait for Samba De Amigo, MadWorld, Bayonetta, and Valkyria Chronicles stuffs.
