FIFA 09 Demo And New Real-World Performance Feature Announced

Krunal | August 20, 2008 | Press Release | Playstation 3 XBOX 360
Not one but two things to note about the latest press release from Electronic Arts. Firstly is the new feature which will be included within the game which will allow the game to dynamically update the player forms to mirror real world performance. So if a team isn't doing too well in reality, they may stop doing so well in-game.

Secondly is that a demo for the game is on its way releasing on September 11th Worldwide on both the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360.
FIFA 09 is now powered with dynamic real-world data and analytics, lifting the game to new heights of authenticity for football fans and gamers connected online. The adidas Live Season service is based on how real players performed in the most recent real-world matches. Gameplay will change dynamically as the performance of players and football teams in the real world experience the highs and lows during their campaigns.

Nice. I've always wondered if they could somehow integrate actual players' form into their in-game stats. I'm looking forward to picking this game up.

September 11th, can't wait. This might give me the push to buy it first before Pro but I doubt it XD

Well I missed out on getting 08 so I'll definately be getting this at some point. FIFA has definately taken major steps to imrpove itself over the last couple of years. After 06 everything just seemed to keep getting better.
