In a press release today, Ignition Entertainment has announced that they will be publishing Mistwalker and AQ Interactive's Blue Dragon Plus for the Nintendo DS in North America and Europe, with the game releasing in March 2009. The sequel to the Xbox 360 RPG Blue Dragon, BD+ takes place one year after the events of the 360 game, with Shu and co. ready to save the world once more.
Blue Dragon Plus is a RTS similar to FFXII: Revenant Wings and Heroes of Mana. Boasting a single player campaign with over 30 hours of gameplay, players will be able to control up to 16 units at one time, each of whom are equippable with items to raise their stats. GoNintendo also has some new art and screenshots available.
