In a press release today, Telltale Games and The Adventure Company have announced that their upcoming Wii point-and-click adventure, Sam & Max Season One, will be at a retail store near you (in North America) on October 7th. It's is the comedic duo of Rabid Dog and Bunnyman's debut on home consoles, ready to make you laugh out loud in the confines of your television set. It is a compilation of the six Season One Telltale episodes of the comedic series that first got its start on the PC.

Also announced is a special preorder deal with Gamestop: preorder Sam & Max Season One either in-store or online, and you will also receive a CD containing bonus content which includes a "making-of" featurette, trailers, concept art, soundtrack sampler, and wallpapers.
