Fallout 3 Reaches Gold Status

Bethsoft's Fallout 3 is now gold! This means it is in pressing and will be shipping to its respective destinations on time (not baring any shipping malfunction, but I am crossing my fingers). Fallout 3 is a post-nuclear action-shooter/RPG set in the aftermath of a global nuclear war. You emerge from one of many underground vaults to find that a new life awaits you in the wastelands.

Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax Media company, announced today that its highly anticipated title, Fallout® 3, has gone gold and will be available on store shelves and online in North America on October 28, in Europe and Australia on October 30, and in the UK on October 31. Developed at Bethesda Game Studios – creators of the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® – Fallout 3 is slated for release on the Xbox 360®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, and Games for Windows.

Nice, I've been wanting to play this game for quite some time now. Guess it's only a matter of two and a half weeks. Not even half the wait for L4D...

Fallout should be good, probably get for xmas though. Too many other good games coming out first. I hope the next project is TES V. After the DLC etc.
