It's a new Monday, and there are four new games being added to the North American Wii Shop Channel today. There are two new WiiWare games ready for play, and a pair of import TurboGrafx games ready for you to try out for the first time.
The first WiiWare title is Tetris Party from Tetris Online, Inc. The classic Tetris action brings its wares to the Wii, with 10 new single-player and multiplayer modes joining the classic game. Some of these new modes will make use of the Wii remote's pointer functionality, while others will use the Wii Balance Board. If that isn't enough, you'll be able to take your game online and go up against five other friends in a multiplayer showdown.
The other WiiWare title is The Incredible Maze from Digital Leisure Inc. Tilt the Wii Remote to guide a ball through a maze, avoiding the various obstacles and traps that aim to deter you. If that isn't enough, use the Wii Balance Board to get your body into the action.
The first Virtual Console game is Digital Champ Battle Boxing for the TurboGrafx16. It is a first-person perspective boxing game, and must make use of the various boxing moves and attacks to clear each fight until you go up against the Digital Champ, in an effort to thwart Mother Computer's plot to conquer mankind.
The other Virtual Console game is Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou for the TurboGrafx16 CD-ROM. It is the sequel to the classic shoot-em-up Gradius, and has you take the helm of the recommissioned Vic Viper once more two years after the end of the first game. Traverse through nine stages with multiple types of weapons and shields to combat the newest enemy: the Gofer.
