GTA Zombie Scenario Confirmed - Official Press Release just received!

It is no longer possible, but official. We just received the official word on the "zombie" outbreak along with the new achievement that goes along with it. Details in the blog story.

Above is the press release that was in my inbox today. Pretty cool stuff, we can all use new skins and achievements in our games. I also like it when game companies try to keep their games alive by using Holidays. Halloween is the perfect excuse to add Zombies to anything, why not GTA. In fact I may even play the game just to get the extra stuff. See ya in Liberty City.

      The strange thing is, this doesn't seem like DLC - last we heard, the real DLC packs were delayed until 2009.

      I think this is a larger than usual patch, but the press release didn't contain many more details than what was in the blog story...

      curiouser and curiouser, I may dust off GTA4 and check tonight.

    Its been in the game from the start, The only new thing is the part on the rockstar's website telling you if you have been infected.

    If you have you just get the zombie skin.

    AND you get an achievement.....But Trophies too? Aren't trophies being added next week? Would mean there would probably be a Zombie trophy too?

    I've already gotten my Zombie skin ages ago (a shot while afte the game came out)....

      There already is a zombie achievement on the Xbox 360 version of the game (it's titled "Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie"). It's very likely there'll be an equivalent PlayStation 3 trophy too.

        But if I remember correctly, that has nothing to do with a 'zombie.' That's just killing someone that has killed a Rockstar developer online, or doing it yourself.

    I've had the Zombie skin since forever. So Rockstar themselves confirmed this? Or is this more wishful thinking?
