EA has announced downloadable content (DLC) for Mirror's Edge will be arriving "at the beginning of [2009]". Previously announced to be exclusive to the PlayStation Store, the press release isn't clear on whether or not this is still true, and only says "more details to be announced shortly."

And if you didn't know already, the PC version is due in January -- on the 6th, according to GameStop.

Now that is pretty awesome news. Then again, I hope they deliver on the DLC and it simply isn't just a "skins" or whhat 2K pulled with the Bioshock DLC ... just more plasmids = weak. [They should have added a gameplay mode where you were able to start a new game with all your collected end-game stats.

I would def be fore new levels and gameplay modes. TPV would be interesting... a multiplayer race mode in this game would be epic.

The DLC sounds interesting, I hope it is not just avatars or background images.
