New Square-Enix RPG, The Last Remnant

Square-Enix are now out to break the Western gaming market(as if Final Fantasy wasn't enough). With their new Next-generation RPG currently called The Last Remnant directed by Hiroshi Takai (The Bouncer).

The Last Remnant has two characters you can choose from: Rush, a typical Square-Enic character and The Conquerer, who is described as a type of dark hero never before seen in a Square Enix RPG.

It will use the Unreal Engine 3 which Square-Enix licensed earlier in the year.

The Last Remnant is being planned for multiple next-generation platforms which has speculated to be Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

    Sounds great, I just hope it isn't greatly similar to Final Fantasy to the point where it might as well be called that.

    This sure does look like an exciting new next gen RPG . Hopefully this will live up to the huge expectations that it will surely have.

    Cool, but it better not be the same anime shit like they do with all the FF games. I wanna see a realistic American western RPG or something.

    LOL, watch i bet the xbox version does better than the ps3. Seeming how the ps3 is getting screwed here.

    I loved The Bouncer, it had potential, and I believe this game will have as well. The PS3 is barely getting exclusives, though. Sucks for Sony.
