This is one awesome toaster.

Indie developer Semnat Studios has officially announced that its first game, Eduardo the Samurai Toaster, will be released exclusively on WiiWare this Winter. The game is a run-and-gun game starring the titular character Eduardo, as he traverses through thirteen levels, fighting Peking Opera pastries, carrots with spears, robotic mangos, and more. You can pick up pastry power-ups to improve Eduardo's weapon firepower.

The game will support up to four players, who can either play cooperatively, or annoy and attack one another. In both single player and multiplayer, there will also be the use of different vehicles-namely a scooter with a laser blaster and also rocket packs. The game will also feature several difficulty options.

Release in regions other than North America has not been confirmed.

      Not shovelware.

It's actually looking to be pretty kickass.

Looks like a possible legitimate core title for the Wii to me.

I said this in the forum as well: this seems similar to Castle Crashers, and that's not bad at all. Looks like a fun multiplayer romp with goofy characters.
