Another Monday, and another two games were added to the Wii Shop Channel today, with one apiece for both WiiWare and the Virtual Console.

The WiiWare title this week is Niki - Rock 'n' Ball from Bplus, the makers of Plattchen Twist 'n' Paint. It is a return to those favorable arcade classics, where the only goal is to defeat all enemies in a level to proceed to the next one. Players control the ball-shapped Niki, whose primary actions are rolling and jumping; as the player proceeds through the game, Niki will gain the ability to turn into different objects to defeat enemies.

The Virtual Console title is Wonder Boy in Monster Land for the Sega Master System. This is Wonder Boy's second adventure, this time set in a medieval fantasy world. The game is an action platformer, with some RPG elements strewn about, and is considered one of the better games for the Master System.
