Electronic Theatre reports on the official release date of Chinese Democracy on Rock Band for Wii, Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION3 this week. The DLC can be purchased as a pack or as individual tracks.

The highly anticipated November 2008 release of Chinese Democracy was Guns N’ Roses’ first official music release in 15 years. It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart, at #2 on the UK Albums chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on February 3rd, 2009. Chinese Democracy has already sold nearly three million copies.

    Well as much as I woulda prefered Appetite For Destruction or even a Best Of compilation, I'll settle for this. Much better than what we've had since Ten was released at the end of March. And besides, the album really wasn't bad. I liked the first half a lot and several songs towards the end. I just hope that this album will lead to some classic Gn'R in the future.

      Yeah I agree, not one of the best GnR albums they picked. Imagine if they chose to add the whole of the greatest hits album...that would be epic

        Oh hell thaqt'd be amazing. Too bad Axl never "authorized" it to be released so I doubt we'd ever get it. But if they did something like what they did with The Who's Best Of DLC, then I think it'd work. Besides, the Gn'R Greatest Hits didn't have "I Used To Love Her" on it, so I'd prefer HMX's own personal greatest hits DLC.
