EA has finally announced the cover characters for the upcoming Madden NFL 10! And for the first time ever, the players on the cover will be two, perhaps because of their exceptional plays during the SuperBowl XLIII... I've already said too much, you may have already guessed who they'll be!

Electronic Arts has today finally announced the two characters which will be featured on the cover of the next Madden NFL 10: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu.
The game will be on retail shelves on Friday, August 14th. For the first time in the 21-year history of the Madden NFL franchise, two athletes will grace the cover of the award-winning football franchise. Fizgerald and Polamalu are both leaders on the respective sides of the field (offense and defense) and will epitomize the battles held during every play in the NFL… the Fight for Every Yard.

That's a cool cover, I like that they went with two Super Bowl team's players. I hope they don't continue to do covers like this from now on though.

I wonder what EA will do if Larry Fitzgerald is traded to another team this season. Will they change his uniform like they did to Brett Favre or keep it the way it is because Fitzgerald's performance was in the Super Bowl as a Cardinal.

Larry signed an extention last year. Its pretty much a 99.99% chance we wont be traded, Boldin on the other hand is on the trading block.
