PlayStation LifeStyle lists the details to the Ghostbusters: The Video Game simultaneous worldwide release. Via the official press release from Atari.

Atari, one of the world’s most recognized video game publishers, today confirmed the worldwide launch plans for the highly anticipated Ghostbusters: The Video Game.

    So basically, PS3 and 360 versions will launch simultaneously in the US, while the PS3 version will be launched before the 360 version in PAL versions?

    Nice way to waste your money, Sony.

    EDIT: Oops, seems like the 360 version won't be launched in PAL regions at all. Oh well, atleast they now have some semblance of exclusivety.

      No, that's wrong. All versions will launch in Europe still, just at Christmas rather than in the Summer.

        Maybe I misunderstood, but:

    Maybe it was the best way for Sony to get their "superior" version without buying the "exclusivity right" of the game ...
    The engine was said to be tuned down for release an identical version on the 2 platformes(xbox/ps3)BECAUSE it was NOT a PS3 EXCLUSIVE.

    If it was exlcusive to PS3 in EU and PAL areas, 360 owners wont be able to import from the states, right? ouch...
