Electronic Theatre reports on the unvieling of the track list for the forthcoming Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits (now known as "Smash Hits" in the US, so I'm told...), due to be available this summer.

Activision has today revealed the highly-anticipated 48-song set list for the European release of Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits, the quintessential Guitar Hero game that allows players to join together and rock to the most fun-to-play songs, all available as master tracks. Seemingly identical to the US track list revealed yesterday (available from our friends at Blend Games), players will fall in love with their favourite Guitar Hero music all over again as they rock to anthems from Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and enjoy them for the first time as a full band experience with updated note tracks for guitar and bass, as well as entirely new gameplay for the drum kit controller and microphone.

Hmm, no Gn'R? Curious, does RB now have exclusive rights to them now? I'd put money on it. Can you say Appetite For Destruction DLC for RB?

So what does this make for GH games this year? MH, SH, DJ Hero, Band Hero, GH5, GH Superhero...did I miss any? Way to milk your franchise Activision. You're now officially worse than Capcom...

Axl seems to have a grudge against Activision for them sneaking around with Slash behind his back.

      Vain bastard -_-

      You missed GH:VH lol.

Note: @Activision - GH:SH Aus release date plz?

Vain or not, as long as AFD or either of the UYI or even a greatest hits compilation makes its way to RB. He can be as vain as he wants, just don't do what Metallica did. Please. I'm very disappointed in them. Atleast the game didn't suck like Aerosmith though.

You could always by Rock Band 2. I like the chart for the song better in Rock Band 2, plus the multiple solos make it even more fun to play.
