LucasArts announces that "Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes" is coming to multiple platforms this September.

The game based on the popular "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" animated TV series will feature two-player online and offline cooperative play with seamless drop-in and drop-out multiplayer for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes allows players to fight as both Jedi Knights and clone troopers through over 30 unique missions, all created from shared visual assets from the TV series. Featuring a brand-new storyline, players will get the chance to take part in the key events that lead directly into the highly anticipated second season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

    I can't put into words how disappointing this is.

    Sure, I'm a Star Wars fan but "The Clone Wars" is obviously aimed at kids and it's annoying tbh.

    The only way I'm getting this game is if it gets good reviews from respectable sources.

    This looks like a new Republic Commando, hope it is. Atleast that picture leads me to believe that.

    Edit: Misleading picture, I hope the clone trooper gameplay is like Commando was though.

    i sure hope to hell also that its like Commando. Lucas Arts has to know that that game was a big cult hit. why only 2 player i wonder?
