Tony Hawk Franchise Reinvented With Innovative Skateboard Controller

Activision Blizzard have announced that the new Tony Hawk game, Tony Hawk: RIDE, will feature new motion sensing skateboard controller which will allow for unprecedented for a skateboarding game.

"The skateboard controller will redefine sports games by offering players a true skateboarding experience, hands-free, playing with friends and family at home or online in a variety of different locations."

    No, please. I like Tony Hawk, but don't like this idea at all. As long as there's an option to play with a regular controller, I won't mind this at all. But if you HAVE to play with the skateboard controller, odds are unless if it gets really good reviews, I won't be getting it.

    They could just use the wii balance board or maby it will be a redesigned one for the wii. as for the other console not sure how the controller will work out. I seriously doubt the game will be good.

      THPS2 was da sh**. The best of them all I reckon. It all went downhill when they moved the series to next gen

    Why are so many games releasing lately with intense 4 letter names? Fuel, Pure, Ride, Grid, Dirt, Feel, I'll even throw in Shift, although it's an extra letter.

    Yeah not sure how it will go on the 360 and PS3, but i agree it should just use Wii Balance Board for the game on the Wii.
