RatedG4Gamer.com just got word in that VidZone for the Playstation 3 will go live tonight in Australia. 1000's of songs will be available to stream through your Playstation 3, turning it into a fantastic media hub!
You can even create a playlist via PSPTM (PlayStation®Portable) and have it waiting for you on PS3 when you get home. With major music labels on board as well as thousands of independents, you can count on getting the latest videos from the biggest names - including regular exclusives and world premieres. A first glance at a sample VidZone playlist reveals videos from artists including Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Fatboy Slim, Black Eyed Peas, Glasvegas, Dizzee Rascal, P!nk, Noisettes, Ne-Yo, Armand van Helden, Tori Amos and Akon, among others - but that's just a few.

So if you have an AU account, you can download it, but it doesn't seem like you'll be able to use it, I'm afraid.
Sounds like it might be worth checking out. Awaiting tonight, then, I suppose.

bout time i guess. I shall be waiting. DONT FAIL US SONY
VidZone is nothing that a Google search can't do faster.
Not only did I get about 4 errors setting it up last night, but searching by artist is a bit annoying, having to enter letter-by-letter via scrolling through the alphabet - USB keyboards don't work. Also, the quality is actually pretty average, but maybe that's just my TV.
The interface, though, is nice and it's very easy to figure out how to do things. But there's nothing too spectacular about the service.
So whilst it's a nice try, I think I'll just stick to YouTube and other online streaming sites. There's nothing too great about it.
It sounds about how I was expecting it to be. The only plus really though, would be having it on your console instead of on the computer. One machine doing more than one thing, is something I always like
