Colin McRae: DiRT 2 releases dated

Fans of Codemasters' racing titles should be pleased to know the release dates for DiRT 2 have been revealed today: it will be shipping September 8 in North America, releasing September 10 in EPAC territories and has a UK street date pegged for September 11.

Developed by Codemasters Studios, creators of the BAFTA Award-winning Race Driver: GRID and powered by the third-generation of the award-winning EGO Engine, Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will be published for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP(PlayStationPortable) system. A Games For Windows LIVE edition will follow with support for DirectX 11.

    This is actually climbing higher and higher on my "must by" list. With Racing games I often wait to play my mate's copies before I'll buy them myself, but the first DiRT was brilliant and I can't wait for the second now!
